To create a kitchen that fit the client’s more modern aesthetic.
The Solution
This space was ready for a new vision entirely. The central kitchen table was necessary for an eat-in kitchen but created pinch points at the refrigerator and pantry. Situated on beautiful Conesus lake, this home is not only a family space but often hosts friends and extended family. A functional kitchen was a must.
The new layout required removal of the existing pantry to allow the refrigerator to be moved to the opposing wall. This gave an opportunity to create a u-shaped kitchen space with a peninsula for seating and serving. We are also able to maximize the storage and add a beverage fridge with easy access to the deck and outdoor entertaining.
