Update bath and change the tub to a shower.
The Solution
Create a space that fits the clients needs and style. We used a preformed acrylic shower pan with a low profile in this ranch home. This is a great alternative to the costly re-framing involved in a zero clearance shower floor.
We added tile walls to the ceiling, storage niches for soap and a decorative grab bar.
The frameless shower door helps alleviate visual barriers to make the shower feel larger. It also lends a view of the exposed piping HansGrohe Shower system featuring a rainshower and handheld.
With the bold wall color and bright whites, we opted for a custom walnut vanity to bring warmth to the new look.
