The Brief
Update bathroom finishes and add modern amenities. Make the tub area into a shower only.
The Solution
Given the space available for this bathroom, there weren’t any major alterations that could be made to the floor plan. We were, however, able to maximize the vanity storage by combining the two separate sinks to one elongated trough-style sink. This allowed for his and hers storage cabinets at either end and additional counter space.
The shower upgrades boast a low profile acrylic shower base, frameless shower door, horizontal soap niche, floor to ceiling tile, decorative grab bar, rain shower and handheld. We also carried this beautiful shower tile along the vanity wall and ceiling. Not only does the tile add texture, it reflects light and gives the illusion of more space.
Other features our homeowners love are the heated floor and bidet (ask anyone who has one and they’ll tell you they never want to live without it).
While here, we also replaced the stone in the entry floor.
